Here at Roborough Vet we are lucky to have an amazing team of four nurses and one animal nursing assistant. They have such an important role to play within the practice, have vital responsibilities to fulfill and of course, keep our vets in check (especially Duncan)! This month on our social media accounts we will be introducing you to Kelly, Isabelle, Kirsty, Mhairi and Shannon, as well as a little about what they do front of house and behind the scenes – so make sure you follow our Instagram and Facebook pages!

Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month (VNAM) was originally started by BVNA in 2005 as National Veterinary Nursing Day campaign, and now, since 2012, the campaign takes place throughout the month of May every year. The purpose of VNAM is to spread the word to the veterinary profession and pet owners, about the importance of the role of the veterinary nurse in practice, and the provision of responsible pet care to the general public.
